Missy Elliott and Brazilian pop star Anitta have linked for a new video, "Lobby." The vibrant and lively video follows the two stars living it up in a hotel. “Lobby” will appear on the deluxe edition of Anitta’s album, Versions of Me, due out Aug. 25.

In addition to her colorful feature, Missy is set to have a street named after her in Portsmouth, VA after the city council voted last week to rename a portion of McClean Street "Missy Elliott Boulevard." Missy, who recently earned props from Nicki Minaj when she acknowledged her "icon" status and credited her for paving the way for female rappers, spoke about how she's created and swayed trends, leaving her imprint on popular music.

"As a solo artist, I’ve been in the game for 25 years, but in the music industry I’ve been here for 29,” she told Essence. “I’ve been reflecting on that. It’s a huge accomplishment, especially when you’re still around. When I think about my albums, you remember very clearly what space you were in at that time. Looking back at Missy 25 years ago, and looking at Missy in 2022, it’s just an amazing feeling. You go through a lot of ups and downs, so to still be standing is always a blessing.”
