One of the most notable aspects of The Rock The Bells Festival was undoubtedly the Trill Mealz Food Court, curated by Bun B. Mia X was on hand with Team Whip Dem Pots, serving up good eats — and yes, she really cooked the food herself.
"I'm really serving my own damn food. I really cooked my own damn food," she said in a clip she posted to Instagram. "And my feet hurt," she added with a smile.
In addition to Mia's plates, attendees had an opportunity grab food from the other rappers who were participating in the first-ever Hip-Hop Food Court, including Nas' Sweet Chick, Bun B's Trill Burgers, Styles P and Jadakiss's Juices For Life, and Ghostface's Killah Koffee.
"I'm gonna need this recipe," Styles P, who's been vocal about embracing a healthy eating lifestyle, said as he munched on Mia's sweet and spicy vegan cabbage.
In the end, Mia, who'd had long lines since the festival doors opened at 11 a.m., sold out of her food. You can still grab her cookbook and seasoning on her site.
