Digable Planets delivered an electric performance at the Rock The Bells Festival this Saturday (Aug. 6). The eclectic-cool trio (Ish aka Butterfly, Cee aka Doodlebug, and Ladybug Mecca) ran through standouts from their catalog including "The Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like That)," "Jettin'" and "Where I'm From," backed by a live band.

Digable Planets debuted on the scene in 1993 with their album Reaching (A New Refutation of Time and Space, which spawned the hit single, "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like That)." They followed up the effort with the stellar, fan favorite Blow Out Comb.

"For me, [performing] has become more natural," Cee told Rock The Bells in a recent interview. "I don't even have to think about it nowadays. Back in the day, all the public exposure, all the hype was new to me. Being on a major label, touring around the world with major acts—it was mad new to me. I had to adjust. Now it's mad comfortable. It's nothing. We go on stage, do a show, maybe haven't seen each other for months, and we always come right back like we never left."
