Method Man On Hot 97 Summer Jam: 'Never Again'

Method Man took to IG recently in response to a Hot 97 post praising his set with his partner in rhyme, Redman. “Not our crowd at all,” he posted. “Thanks again, New York and the whole tri-state plus Pete and Ebro. I got love for you guys, but never again, at this point, the generation gap is too wide for me." Meth's post concluded with the hashtag nevercomingback.

The lineup for this years Summer Jam included Sexyy Red, Offset, and Doja Cat. Many fans complained that the inclusion of Meth and Red made for a disjointed line up. “Summer Jam used to be for New York Artists and other artists prayed to be brought out. 41 and the Red & Method man tribute are the only ones that make sense,” one user posted.
