Smif-N-Wessun have released "Medina", the third single from their album, Infinity. The mid tempo SND*TRK produced track featuring Pharoahe Monch dropped earlier this week to critical acclaim along with the official video.

Executive Produced by college professor and world renowned producer, 9th Wonder and the Soul Council, 9th explains the thought process with the album. “I wanted to make sure that it didn't sound dated. It sounds like them, but it's also new.

They are our generation's version of Thelonious Monk, Charlie Parker, Donald Byrd.” Featured artists on the project include, Buckshot, Pharoahe Monch, Conway the Machine, Sean Price, Prodigy, Ralph Tresvant, and rising stars, Sweta and Jalisa.

In other Smif-N-Wessun news, the duo embarked on the Still Shinin' tour earlier this year. “It’s Hip Hop, it’s going to be exciting,” Steele explained. “I don’t want to say, ‘throwback’ but it’s going to have a feeling of just coming to a show and having fun.”

“When we on tour, we see generations that come to our shows,” says Tek. “At some shows, we have kids that are 9, 11, 13 years old with their dads, and their dads had their dad, and they all rocking, and they know the words too.”
