MC Shan Calls Out KRS-One...Again: "You're Always Gonna Have a Question Mark"

One of Hip Hop’s biggest and most historic beefs was The Bridge Wars, which lasted from 1986 with “The South Bronx” KRS ONE’s response to M.C. Shan’s “The Bridge” and ended in 1988 with Shan’s “Juice Crew Law”. Throughout the decades the M.C.’s have taken jabs at each other, sometimes with a more friendly tone and at other times more serious. In 2016 the tone appeared serious with Shan releasing “The Revenge of The Walking Dead” and KRS responding with “S.H.A.N. (Still Huggin A Nut)”.

On Sunday, (Jan. 23), M.C. Shan posted a video on IG, which he tagged The Teacher himself in, declaring that KRS’ legacy will never be solidified.

“You’re always gonna have a question mark because you had a chance to solidify your legacy," the caption read. "You could have crushed me in front of the world at Verzuz but you only wanted to do it with Kane. When Kane said let’s do some fast shit you said 'slow it down' because you can’t!”

Shan also suggested that the closest that the 2 M.C’S ever came to a battle was their 1996 Sprite commercial. “I knocked your block off in 15 seconds with 12 bars!” Let’s see if this is another false start in the on again off again war of words between the 2 veterans, or if the teacher responds to the callout.
