On Dec. 5, 2020, five month-old Ocean Robertson was shot in the head in Louisville, KY. The infant was riding in a car with her mother, sibling and a driver near the intersection of Dr. W.J. Hodge and West Oak streets in Louisville's West End when shooters opened fire, killing her 30-year old mother Fa'Quansa "Molly" Acrum and striking little Ocean in the head. Molly was not believed to be the intended target. In September 2021, the Courier Journal reported that "Ocean has had neurological damage and often suffers seizures, and she cannot hold a bottle or crawl, Ancrum said, with the girl requiring a specialized stroller and someone by her side 24 hours a day."
The story moved Master P. So much so that the No Limit Records impresario paid a visit to Ocean and promised to throw her a birthday party for her 2nd birthday. P shared a video of his visit with Ocean this past week.
“Look at my beautiful No Limit Little Soldier Ocean,” P captioned alongside the video. “She’s been through it all but she’s still here.#GODisgood she’s recovering from a gun shot wound to her head. It’s time to save our kids they are our future. Join our movement #FutureHealers #502 #WeallWegot Salute Christopher 2x.”
