Master P and his family are reeling from the loss of his daughter, 29-year old Tytyana Miller. On Tuesday (June 7), P performed at Funk Fest in Orlando and addressed the loss onstage; where he talked about the seriousness of helping others who are struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues. The 52-year old rapper told the crowd that he's no longer grieving and plans to celebrate her life.

“I love my daughter, man. I miss her," P said onstage with images of Tytyana behind him. "I always was her parachute and now she’s my parachute in the sky looking over me. We not gonna grieve no more, we’re gonna celebrate because now I’m gonna be able to take care of millions of kids and save millions of lives. I’m gonna get out here and play my part. I know God put me in this world for a passion and purpose. Mental illness is a serious thing.”

He shared a message on Instagram about the loss, while also vowing to help those in need. “I always been my daughter’s parachute, now she’s my parachute in the sky. No more grieving, it’s time to celebrate her and help millions of people dealing with mental illness and substance abuse. #WeAllWeGot #godisgood.”
