The Chicago Bears and Chicago MC Lupe Fiasco announced on their IG pages that he will be performing at the Chicago Bears halftime show on Christmas Eve. The Chicago Bears IG posted, "Even in the cold, the show goes on. Catch Lupe Fiasco performing at halftime on Saturday!"

Lupe said in his video clip, "I better see Chicago out there. We're gonna rock it out, Bear down."

Lupe joins Dr. Dre, Snoop, 50 Cent, Eminem, Goodie Mob, Ice Cube (Nascar halftime) and others in performing at sporting event halftime shows recently.

Earlier this year, Lupe announced a mini tour commemorating 15 years of his sophomore album, 2007's The Cool.

"Celebrating the 15th Anniversary Of 'The Cool'," he wrote. "Performing the album from front to back in a city near you."

The Cool is a concept album that is based on a character from his 2006 album Food & Liquor. The Patrick Stump, Soundtrack and Unkle-produced album featured Snoop Dogg, Gemini and Matthew Santos. The project featured standout tracks like "Hip-Hop Saved My Life" which it was later revealed was based on Houston rapper Slim Thug. The Cool debuted at #15 on the Billboard 200 and debuted as the number one rap record, where it remained for nine weeks. The album was also nominated for a Grammy in 2009 for Best Rap Album.
