Lupe Fiasco announced on Tuesday via IG a mini tour commemorating 15 years of his sophomore album, 2007's The Cool.

"Celebrating the 15th Anniversary Of 'The Cool'," he wrote. "Performing the album from front to back in a city near you."

The Cool is a concept album that is based on a character from his 2006 album Food & Liquor. The Patrick Stump, Soundtrakk and Unkle-produced album featured Snoop Dogg, Gemini and Matthew Santos. The project featured standout tracks like "Hip-Hop Saved My Life" which it was later revealed was based on Houston rapper Slim Thug.

The Cool debuted at #15 on the Billboard 200 and debuted as the number one rap record, where it remained for nine weeks. The album was also nominated for a Grammy in 2009 for Best Rap Album.

Back in 2007, he talked to XXL about the album's dark tone. "Oh yeah, a lot of loss," he said. "I lost my father, I lost my business partner to prison, and I lost some friends. It was a very dark period."

The mini-tour kicks off in New York on September 7 and wraps in L.A. on Oct. 1. Tickets are available on his site.
