Ludacris Says New Album Is Coming 'Probably Next Year'

Ludacris, who's been teasing fans with viral verses for the past few months on social media, has said that new music is officially on the way soon.

Luda has been promoting the latest installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, Fast X, and chatted with Tamron Hall about his forthcoming music plans.

“We’re definitely gonna get some music before the end of this year,” he says in the upcoming episode, which premieres on May 16, per Billboard. “I would say an album, probably next year.”

Ludaversal debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 and included features from Usher, Miguel, Monica and Big K.R.I.T. Fast X premieres in theaters on May 19, and after you see him on the big screen, you can catch him on the stage at the Rock The Bells Festival on Aug. 5 in Queens. Luda joins a star-studded line-up which also includes Queen Latifah, Monie Love, De La Soul, Slick Rick, Rakim, Yo-Yo, Redman + Method Man, Roxanne Shanté, Big Daddy Kane,MC Lyte, MC Sha-Rock, Fabolous,Boot Camp Clik,Swizz Beatz with special guests, Cold Crush Brothers, and Salt-N-Pepa are all slated to perform, with more artists to be announced.
