LL COOL J spoke recently with ET about this thoughts on a biopic chronicling his life and career. "I'm open to it but I'm not gonna lie, it bores me a little bit," he shared. "I don't know, I have mixed emotions about it, I don't know. I just have a lot to do creatively and I feel like I could do a lot.

It's not that I'm against it. I'm open to doing a documentary, I'm open to the idea of doing a biopic but it just doesn't excite me. It's kind of like me turning around in the mirror with my jeans on and looking at myself. I don't know what that means, I don't do that a lot."

LL is preparing his 14th studio album, The FORCE, which drops on 9/6. The project features Snoop Dogg, Saweetie, Busta Rhymes, Nas, Eminem, Fat Joe, Rick Ross, and more. The FORCE (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) is LL's first new album in ten years, and is entirely produced by Q-Tip of ATCQ.

The project represents years of intense work, which the "I'm Bad" MC likens to “learning how to rap again.” “It’s like a director going back to film school after he’s had blockbusters,” LL says, or “Denzel going back to acting class.
