In a recent interview with ET, LL COOL J discussed his upcoming album, The FORCE which is his 14th studio album, and his first in over a decade. "I know it's been a long time since I put out an album that moved the culture and gave people my perspective on where I think the state of the art should be," he said. "And so rather than get out here and talk about what should be, I decided to create some music and show people what I think Hip-Hop can sound like in 2024."

The FORCE, which is an acronym for Frequencies Of Real Creative Energy is scheduled for release on 9/6 and contains features from Snoop Dogg, Fat Joe, Eminem, Rick Ross, Saweetie, Busta Rhymes, and more. The project is produced by Q-Tip of ATCQ and contains 14 songs.

LL spoke about his evolution, and offering aid to former rivals. "As you mature and evolve, you start realizing, it was all about me," he explained. "Now, I can look this way and say, 'Make it about somebody else.' Now I can help other people. So the guys that I might have been competitive with back in the days, now I'm looking at it like, 'How can I help you?'"

LL has released "The Force" (a Rock The Bells Radio exclusive), "Saturday Night Special", and "Passion" leading up the the release of the full project. "Proclivities" featuring Saweetie drops tonight (8/8) at midnight.
