LL COOL J recently sat down with Hip-Hop supergroup Mount Westmore (Ice Cube, Snoop Dogg, Too Short, E-40) to discuss the album, Hip-Hop, entrepreneurship, and being unafraid to use your voice.
LL asks Cube "where does the fearlessness come from" to which Cube immediately replies it's something he picked up from the people he most admires.d
"All my heroes are fearless," he says. "George Clinton is fearless, he's giving a lot of game in them records. It's so funky you don't understand but it's a lot of game. Reggie Jackson, Richard Pryor, the truthtellers like Chuck D, and KRS-One. To me when you got the mic, you gotta use it. It's like the comedians, Dave Chappelle and Dick Gregory-- when you got the mic you gotta use it because these records are gonna be here when we're dead."
