Luadcris and LL's relationship runs deep. Earlier this month, Ludacris was a headliner at the Rock The Bells Festival in Queens. LL also presented Ludacris with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where Ludacris thanked the Hip-Hop legend for inspiring him throughout the years.
"Thank you for all the hard work you inspired me," Ludacris told LL. "I will tell you like all of the hard work, the inspiration. We've had numerous talks and conversations. I take all of that and I'm taking it with me."
As for the F.O.R.C.E. Tour, which features LL performing alongside The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Z-Trip, as a string of different Hip-Hop icons joining him on stage in each city, last night's show featured energetic performances from Rakim and De La Soul.
The F.O.R.C.E. Tour continues its trek tonight (Aug. 22) with a stop in Memphis where Big Boi, Jadakiss, Juvenile, Slick Rick, and MC Lyte will perform along with LL COOL J with The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff and DJ Z-Trip. Tickets are available now at rockthebells.com/forcelive.
