Kid Cudi's Debut Mixtape 'A Kid Named Cudi' Will Hit Streaming Services This Month

Kid Cudi's debut mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi, is coming to streaming platforms on July 15, nearly 14 years after it was first released on July 17, 2008. Cudi shared the news on Twitter, also adding that a new "Best Of" album, The Boy Who Flew To The Moon Vol. 1, will hit streaming services on July 8.

“July 8th The Boy Who Flew To the Moon Vol. 1 (Best of). July 15th A Kid Named Cudi. I love u. Ur welcome,” he tweeted on Monday.

The Chicago rapper said he's excited about his first mixtape, the project that caught the attention of Kanye West and led to his signing with Ye's G.O.O.D. Music, is coming to streaming services. The mixtape features his breakthrough single, "Day 'N' Nite."

"I am so damn excited u all get to enjoy it again, remastered, w all the jams that made people fans from jump," he wrote. "Also, did a new intro."

He added that it'll be available on vinyl, though no official release date was given.

In addition to his upcoming releases, Cudi announced the official lineup for his Moon Man's Landing Festival taking place in Cleveland later this year. He's also set to release his animated series on Netflix, Entergalactic ("an explosion of art, music and fashion"), which will reportedly arrive this fall.
