The VMA nominations are here and as expected, Kendrick Lamar tops the list of nominees, with seven (Jack Harlow and Lil Nas X also have seven).
Snoop Dogg and Eminem also show up with a Best Hip-Hop nomination for their summer release, "From the D to the LBC." They'll compete with Drake in that category who was nominated for his song with Young Thug and Future "Way 2 Sexy," as well as with Kendrick for "N95."
Kendrick was nominated for Video for Good ("N95" got a nod), and unsurprisingly, two for Best Cinematography for "N95" and "Family Ties" with Baby Keem. Both songs are featured on his most recent release, Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers. "The Heart Part 5" was also nominated for Best Visual Effects.
The 2022 MTV VMAs air on Aug. 28.
