Eminem has been sharing clips from a sit-down he had with Snoop in the studio during the making of their recent collaboration "From the D 2 the LBC." In the latest one, he completely forgot he was in Dr. Dre's "Still D.R.E." video. The clip starts with Snoop remembering the times he and Em appeared together on screen.
"We was in a movie together, and the Dre video," Snoop recalls, singing the hook to "Still D.R.E.". "Weren't you on the beach running in that video?"
"I was?" Eminem asks, bewildered before Snoop confirms he was indeed running on the beach with "damn near no clothes on." "You was Slim Shady — you was like, crazy back then. Real crazy," he says, smirking as Eminem requests to be shown the video.
The song in question was the lead single from Dre's 1999 masterpiece, 2001. Produced by Mel-Man, Scott Storch, and Dre, it featured Snoop on the intro, outro, and hook and was famously written by Jay-Z. On it, Dre shouts out Em: "Kept my ear to the streets, signed Eminem/He's triple platinum doing 50 a week..."
Finally, Snoop jogs Em's memory when he adds, "It was a bunch of girls running around you."
"Oh!" Eminem shouts, jumping out of his seat. "Now, I remember."
You can remember too, and watch the video below.
