Kendrick Lamar dropped a video for "Rich Spirit" from his latest album, Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.
Directed by Calmatic, the video finds Kendrick hanging out with himself and his constantly moving thoughts as he dances around the house in cowboy boots and a glittery ninja-Kung Fu Kenny ensemble, lays on the floor and stares into space, and talks on a landline phone, which we later find out is actually broken because the cord is cut. Or is it? At the end of the video the phone starts ringing and Kendrick looks at it, just as bothered as the rest of us.
Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers was met with much acclaim following its release, and Kendrick leads in Grammy nominations behind Beyoncé (she has nine, he has eight), including Album of the Year. This nomination marks the fourth consecutive time he's been up for the Album of the Year, though he hasn't yet won it.
