NPR's Tiny Desk has hosted short, intimate live performances by music greats such as Charlie Wilson, Rakim, Jeru The Damaja, Trouble Funk, Black Thought and Scarface. The platform has become wildly popular and a go to since its 2009 inception, and especially during the Covid 19 pandemic.

Jeezy joins the ranks of artists who have graced the platform, and he made the announcement on his IG page yesterday (2/7). His post simply read: "Let me take y'all on a journey #tinydesk," alongside several images from the upcoming performance.

Jeezy received praise recently from Ludacris for lyrics contained in his 2003 hit "Get Ya Mind Right". "I tell people all the time that one of my favorite lines in Hip-Hop period is 'minus the bullshit life's great/just put a camera on the peach in my license plate,'" Luda said. "I called him to tell him that I loved that line, and he told me that he actually had a camera on the peach in his license plate."
