Jadakiss and Swizz Beatz Respond to Funk Flex's Challenge

Jadakiss and Swizz Beatz have dropped two songs in response to Funkmaster Flex's challenge for them to release new music. On DJ Enuff's afternoon set, Flex dropped a brand new track which samples "Bring 'Em Out Dead" by Onyx and features Swizz Beatz drum programming.

Last week, Flex premiered a new Jada and Swizz song as well, with the line "Why New York radio be soundin' like Atlanta?" which Flex repeated several times. Flex also challenged Busta Rhymes to drop new heat, which he did a few days later when he released two new tracks.

Flex called Jadakiss out: "Jadakiss I challenge you to get me a solo record by next Thursday, do you accept the challenge? Do I have to call Swizz Beatz? As a matter of fact it better be a beat from Swizz."

Flex also called out Ghostface Killah and Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan. "I know you guys are rich, you're doing lots of shows," the DJ said. "I look at your jewelry game and car game and I understand; The Wu-Tang tour is going on. I think you should record it in Staten Island. Just a request."

Conway The Machine, Juelz Santana and Fabolous have also responded to Flex's recent challenges. Flex called out Juelz Santana back in July. "Juelz Santana you've been home for a few years now," he said. "I'm tired and exhausted and we want a new Juelz Santana song. Juelz I give you six days. Get me a new song. Do you accept the challenge, yes or no?"

A back-and-forth occurred earlier this summer between Conway The Machine and Flex after Conway publicly accused the DJ of being a gatekeeper who is out of touch with Hip-Hop. Flex issued a challenge to Conway and the two collaborated on a dedication to fallen radio legend Steve Smith.
