In the wake of talent manager Wack 100's revalation that Murder Inc. founder Irv Gotti has suffered a stroke, a Gotti rep has made a statement to TMZ about the mogul's condition. "Irv has been struggling with diabetes for years, which caused him to have a minor stroke over six months ago," the rep shared. "He has since changed his diet and is eating more healthy. He's been successful in making a full recovery. Irv is not in a rehab facility. He is at home with his family, enjoying life."

Wack has posted images of Irv walking with a cane outside of a rehabilitation facility (he referred to the cane as a walker). Gotti addressed his health issues on a past episode of Drink Champs where he says that his diabetes is hereditary,but reversible with a lifestyle change. "[Diabetes] is rampant with Black people," he explained. "I've been diagnosed with diabetes forever, its hereditary. You gotta change the way you eat and all that."
