In a recent interview with BET's Diggin In the Crates, Fat Joe admitted that he believes 50 Cent's debut album, Get Rich Or Die Tryin' is one of the greatest Hip-Hop albums of all time. Joe admitted that due to their past beef, at first he wasn't receptive to really listening to the landmark album when it first dropped in 2003.

“One of the greatest albums of all time,” Joe said. “And it’s crazy ’cause I had beef with him and I wouldn’t allow myself to hear it, wouldn’t let DJs play it. But I knew that it was G-Unit. RecentlyJ. Cole came out at his concert and said it was the greatest album of all time. Nas came out andsaid, ‘Yo this changed the game.’ And it’s a fact.”

Fat Joe goes on to praise 50's selection of beats as well as flow and melodies.

“His flows, his melodies, his beats, the energy Hip Hop music had never felt. That energy that he was coming with, it was like yo, this is that — you got that dangerous thing to it. He teamed up with Mr. Professional,Dr. DreandEminem. See, 50 Cent woulda still been amazing but he’d have came with those New York beats that was really really good, but once again, Dr. Dre makes everything iPic. He makes everything crystal clear. He just gives you that professionalism like you on a podium or something.”

50 is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his classic debut. Last month, Eminem popped up midway through 50 Cent's Final Lap Tour stop in Detroit, hopping on stage to perform his verse on “Patiently Waiting” as well as their 2009 hit, “Crack a Bottle.” 50 also recently shared some advice on Instagram about making a hit.

"Take your time make it a classic then it won’t go away. #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi,” 50 wrote alongside a photo of plaque for "In Da Club."

The plaque celebrated the classic song's landmark achievement — hitting 1 billion streams on Spotify.
