Eminem Scores First Ever No. 1 on Billboard Hot Christian Songs Chart

Eminem has just landed his first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Christian Songs chart. How exactly did that happen? Thank DJ Khaled. "Use This Gospel (Remix)" featuring Em and Kanye is featured on Khaled's latest, God Did, and hit the top spot (the track originally appeared on Ye's 2019 project Jesus Is King).

While in the past Em wasn't exactly known for rapping about his faith ("Take a bath with the Catholics in holy water, no wonder they try to hold me under longer"), on this track he pontificates about his spiritual standing. “Please let this hate make me stronger, for they turned on me like a zombie / It’s like I’m being strangled unconscious when temptation is almost like Satan is baiting you," he rhymes.

Of course, this isn't a first for Kanye, whose Jesus Is King occupied the entire top 10 on the Christian Songs Chart back in 2019 and did essentially the same thing with 2021's Donda, hitting No. 1 on the Christian Albums & Top Gospel Albums chart, and claiming 23 spots on the Hot Christian Songs & Hot Gospel Songs chart when it debuted.
