The IG account for The Flyer Vault posted paperwork that reflected a $100 payment to Drake for headlining an Ice Cube show. The concert took place on August 19, 2006, at a venue called Kool Haus, and Drake performed for half an hour before Ice Cube took the stage.

The IG caption read, "On August 19, 2006, Ice Cube headlined the Kool Haus with supporting act Drake in what was likely his first-ever concert. The Boy got paid a handsome sum of $100 and performed cuts from his debut mixtape Room For Improvement which was released earlier that year. Classic history! Courtesy of @jb_smoooth.”

Drake shared the post to his IG stories on Tuesday (10/18) with the caption, "This is for anybody getting $100 a show right now. Keep going."

Recently, Drake took home the "Sweet 16 Best Featured Verse" award for his contribution to Jack Harlow's "Churchill Downs." He led in nominations at the annual awards show with an impressive 14 in over half a dozen categories.
