Drake and Destroy Lonely Win Spotify's All-RapCaviar MVP & Rookie of The Year Awards

Drake and Destroy Lonely are the winners of Spotify's All-RapCaviar MVP and Rookie of the Year trophies respectively.

Nominees for the campaign in both categories featured Hip-Hop's biggest artists that dominated the RapCaviar playlist during the duration of the pro basketball season from November 2022 to June 23, according to Global Grind. Of the MVP nominees that included Metro Boomin', 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert and Lil Baby, Drake came home with the trophy. Destroy Lonely, this year's MVP beat out nominees who included Ice Spice, Central Cee,GloRilla, and Luh Tyler earning enough fan votes to snatch the title.

RapCaviar has been a cultural force in Hip-Hop since 2015 with a playlist boasting more than 10 million followers, a podcast, and its own documentary series. The annual All-RapCaviar Campaign is now in its third year and was inspired by end-of-season awards that honor basketball's top players. RapCaviar's first, second, and third teams consist of rappers who have had the biggest impact on the flagship playlist and other Hip-Hop related Spotify playlists.
