Detroit Rapper Quelle Chris Announces New Album 'DEATHFAME'

Detroit-based emcee, Quelle Chris, has announced his seventh studio album, DEATHFAME, along with the release of his new single, “Alive Ain’t Always Living.” The critically acclaimed underground wordsmith also announced a European tour to promote the forthcoming project. 

Quelle has been on an absolute roll creatively, with the release of his two most recent solo projects, Guns and Being You Is Great, I Wish I Could Be You More Often, garnering critical acclaim for his eccentric approach to abstract hip-hop.

During the pandemic, Quelle Chris took the time to craft a new reflective album that hits close to home for many artists and creatives. The album, DEATHFAME, is produced by Quelle Chris himself, along with Chris Keys and Knxledge, and will explore the trials of the early 2020s due to COVID-19, racial protest, and the political strife of the era.

The album features guest verses from emerging underground emcees Navy Blue and Pink Siifu lend brilliance to the dynamic and unexpected new DEATHFAME album, which will be released on 5-13-22 on Mello Music Group.
