National Hip-Hop Museum founder Jeremy Beaver shared Celo's influence with Rock The Bells. "DJ Celo wasn't just a NHHM 2019 Honoree, he was my DJ mentor and a mentor to many up-and-coming DJ'S. He was a great friend, father and music aficionado who elevated DC Hip-Hop to a commercial level thru his time on WKYS and in the DMV Club circuit.
