As Hip-Hop celebrates 50 years, Rock The Bells continues to be at the center of the evolution, capturing it all to curate one-of-a-kind experiences and offerings. Check out 5 of our best live moments.

Rock The Bells Festival

On August 6, 2022, LL COOL J’s first annual Rock The Bells Festival hit his hometown of Queens for a Hip-Hop hungry crowd at Forest Hills Stadium. The day-long festival which promised to elevate Hip-Hop did just that, as Digable Planets, Rick Ross, Trina, Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Busta Rhymes, Onyx, Havoc of Mobb Deep, and LL COOL J played to a sold-out crowd. The festival was hosted by ROCK THE BELLS radio personality and rap legend Roxanne Shante’ and Large Professor of Main Source, and ROCK THE BELLS radio DJ Mister Cee performed DJ sets. The festival also featured Hip-Hop's first food court, the “Trill Mealz Food Court” curated by Bun B, which featured Nas' Sweet Chick, E-40's Goon With The Spoon, Jadakiss, and Style P's Juices For Life, Mia X's Team Whip Them Pots and Bun B's Trill Burgers. The critically acclaimed festival also featured surprise performances from Kool G. Rap, Milk D., and The Ultramagnetic MC's.

Rock The Bells Cruise

Last year, ROCK THE BELLS announced the first ever Hip-Hop cruise, which sold out in three days. The cruise, which promises an unforgettable immersive Hip-Hop experience, will feature five stages with Hip-Hop's biggest producers, MCs, and DJs. The cruise takes place on the Norwegian Pearl which features 10 restaurants, eight bars, a casino, a basketball court, a spa, a gym and an outdoor track.

In January, ROCK THE BELLS announced the amazing lineup of Rick Ross, Lil Jon, Big Boi, DJ Jazzy Jeff, MC Lyte, Ghostface Killah, Trina, Trick Daddy, Just Blaze, Big Daddy Kane, Too Short, Slick Rick, DJ Spinderella, Mannie Fresh, Pete Rock, DJ Quik, Rah Digga, EPMD, Bun B, Bahamadia, Grandmaster Caz, DJ Scratch, Mister Cee, DJ Epps, DJ Nina 9, Grandmaster Dee, Technician The DJ, and DJ Critical Hype with Hosts ROCK ThE BELLS radio's own Roxanne Shantè and Torae.

The legendary DJ Kid Capri will host the Pool Deck Party Series. The 4-day round trip cruise takes place November 13-17 2023 from Miami to Nassau and Grand Bahama Island.

Yacht The Basel

On December 4, 2021, Frito Lay and ROCK THE BELLS presented "Yacht The Basel: The Art of The Cheetle." Street Artist Lefty Out There presented eight pieces created entirely out of Cheeto residue. “Creativity and expression have always been central to the Hip-Hop movement, which is why we are thrilled to team up with Cheetos, a brand that is all about celebrating self-expression in all its forms,” said James Cuthbert, Rock The Bells President. “We’re also excited to have Lefty Out There on board for this special event and can’t wait to see his bold and dynamic style brought to life in an entirely new way."

Live To The Beat

On February 27, 2023, ROCK THE BELLS partnered with the CDC (Center For Disease Control) Foundation for the pop-up event Live To The Beat. Live To The Beat is an initiative aimed to empower the Black community to take action and lower their risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD). The event was timed to coincide with Black History Month, American Heart Month, and Hip Hop's 50th Anniversary. The event took place in Atlanta and was hosted by rapper/activist Killer Mike and mental health wellness advocate Shanti Das. There was also a DJ set by radio personality Big Tigger, a healthy meals cooking demonstration by chef Nzali Scales, and a Hip-Hop fitness session led by personal trainer and TV personality Toya Johnson.

Yachts, Beats & Art

On December 2, 2022, Hip-Hop, sneaker culture, and art collided at ROCK THE BELLS: Yachts, Beats & Art. Advertised as a unique experience on the water, Yachts, Beats, and Art combined the love of music, fashion, and art when sneaker designer Whitney House and rapper Flo Milli revealed their custom Cheetos Sneaker collab. The event took place on the Seafair, a 220-foot, four-story mega yacht docked at Bayfront Park in downtown Miami. The event included a sneaker reveal, raffle, art by Brandon Aviles, and a performance by Flo Milli. There was also live music by Nyla Simone, Sachi Sounds, and legendary producer and DJ Mannie Fresh. "It's always a good vibe. Miami is always a good vibe," he told ROCK THE BELLS. "It's one of them towns—I love the people, the culture, and everything that goes with it. I love the people in Miami. Everybody is cool under the cover of art and music, the way it goes together—and culture. It's definitely a good time every time I do it."
