Legendary Chi Town speed spitter Twista is an accomplished recording artist, and Guiness Book record holder (fastest rapper in the world). Now he is planning to share another one of his passions with the world. In a recent Rolling Stone interview he explained that he developed an interest in magic and ventriloquism around the age of ten, inspired partly by 1978's Magic, and performed tricks on the side until his rap career blew up.

"If we were on tour and we went into a gas station and they had a little puppet in there, I'm grabbing it," the "Adrenaline Rush" rapper said. "I'm amazing the homies, I'm doing something for the people in the store. It's always something that I've done naturally if I come across a puppet or doll."

Twista was gifted an actual ventriloquist doll years ago that he named Groucho and he wrote an act for it immediately that he wishes to perform at some point.

"He's trying to take my job," Twista says. "I think it'll be fun for people to see the puppet rapping fast without me moving my lips."

He explains that he has learned a variety of coin tricks, sleight of hand, and card tricks over the years. He even penned an unreleased song to one of his favorite magicians, David Blaine. Twista recently had a look-a-like puppet of himself made which he calls Lil Twista and he has an interest in performing for kids and even embarking on his own Las Vegas show. "I have a passion for making people happy," he said.
