At this point in his career, Too $hort is proving that he is undoubtedly a multi-hyphenate. In addition to his solo career, his show on Rock The Bells Radio, and his work with Mt. Westmore, Short Dog is now adding film to his ever growing resume.
According to TMZ, his film, Freaky Tales — which premiered at Sundance — is an “anthology horror-movie-thriller-comedy" about his time growing up in Oakland in the ’80s.
The cast and crew is certainly impressive. Tom Hanks, Pedro Pascal, Normani, and the late Angus Cloud, star, and it's directed by Captain Marvel writers/directors Ryan Fleck and Anna Boden.
