Death Row Records co-founder and legendary MC, The D.O.C., spoke with HipHopDX recently — bestowing praises on Snoop Dogg for his acquisition of Death Row Records earlier this year.

“I’m so proud of everything that he’s accomplished and all the things that he’s going to do", he said. “Every moment in his adult life, he is still showing me what it means to be a great guy and great human being. The guy is fucking everywhere – the grocery store, billboards, on freeways. He’s everywhere."

Snoop Dogg purchased Death Row records in February, on the heels of his historic Super Bowl LVI halftime show performance with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, 50 Cent, Eminem, and Mary J Blige. The news of the purchase reverberated through Hip-Hop for weeks after, with questions about the nature of Snoop's ownership and speculation that the entire catalog wasn't included in the acquisition. Snoop has embraced NFT's and the metaverse, vowing to make Death Row the first major label in the metaverse. Snoop recently hinted that "Nuthin But A G Thang" may be the first NFT release on Death Row.
