Erykah Badu is the cover star of Vogue's March issue talking about everything from music and creativity to fashion and finding purpose.

In the spread, her 18-year-old daughter Puma Curry is also featured, and Badu's longtime friend and Puma's father, legendary Hip-Hop vet, The D.O.C. celebrated the cover on IG, calling Badu the "Queen of the South."

The story, which leans into Badu's signature innovative style, features interviews with Questlove, Maxwell, and others. The story also highlights Badu's decades-long work as a doula, including for D.O.C.'s wife — explaining she was there for the birth of their two kids.

As for D.O.C., his documentary is set to hit theaters this spring. Directed by Dave Caplan, the film focuses on The D.O.C. as he considers a dangerous experimental surgery to restore his vocal cords 30 years after he was severely injured in a 1989 car crash that took his voice. Last year, the film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. The documentary, executive produced by Erykah Badu, features footage of The D.O.C and features interviews with Dr. Dre, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Xzibit, Too $hort, Kurupt, Daz Dillinger, Tone Loc, Big Boy, Sir Jinx, DJ Yella, Jewell and Dr. Rock.
