The Oscars might be shrouded in controversy again this year after Angela Bassett failed to win Best Supporting Actress for her turn in Wakanda Forever and her obvious disappointment over the loss, but The Daniels did score a win Best Director, which was a roundabout win for Hip-Hop.

The Daniels (Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert) are also the duo behind DJ Snake and Lil Jon's 2013 hit, "Turn Down for What." In fact, they directed lot of videos early on — between 2010 and 2017, they directed over a dozen music videos for the likes of Passion Pit, Foster The People, Tenacious D, A-Trak and more. This year, they picked up an Oscar for Everything Everywhere All At Once.

Reminisce on Daniel Kwan and his super-powered genitals in "Turn Down for What" below.
