The Celebration of Life for Fatman Scoop is today (9/12) from 3 to 5PM at the world's famous Apollo Theater at 253 W. 125th Street in Harlem. Fatman Scoop died shortly after collapsing onstage (8/30) in Town Center Park in Hamden, Connecticut. Click here for ticket information.

Born Isaac Freeman, Fatman Scoop was a hype man, rapper, radio personality and recording artist. His trademark was rocking over already existing tracks, like his biggest hit 2003's "Be Faithful" which samples "Never Knew Love Like This" by Faith Evans and other popular songs. Scoop worked with Lil Jon, Janet Jackson, Mariah Carey, and Whitney Houston. R.I.P. Fatman Scoop.
