According to TMZ, Snoop Dogg asked a judge to seal the records from his 1993 murder case, which he did back in February. The case was a major news story at the time, as Snoop was still a rising star having released his debut "Deep Cover", his appearances on The Chronic, and his '93 debut album, Doggy Style. The Murder Was The Case movie and soundtrack was released the next year.

In other Snoop news, his new Dr. Dre produced upcoming album, Missionary is in the process of being completed. "This one is gonna show a different level of maturity with his lyrics and my music," Dre told Entertainment Tonight. "I feel that this is some of the best music that I've done in my career. Snoop is really excited, and so am I. The musicians I have in the studio, and some of the writers that are helping us out, I think people are really going to enjoy it."

Dre says that he produced the entire album, but his vocals are only on a couple of songs. "I did two songs, but I think that vocally only one is gonna make it," he said. Dre also revealed that Sting is a featured guest on the album. Snoop says that the new album may spawn a new tour. “I’m able to go on tour just because of the catalog that I have, but this new record, Missionary, is going to put me in a position to probably have that final big stadium tour,” Snoop said at the Bloomberg Screentime conference.
