Snoop Dogg and Master P announced back in August that they were releasing the gluten-free "Snoop Loopz" through Snoop's Broadus Foods.

"More corn, more flavor and more marshmallow," Master P who runs Broadus foods tweeted at the time.

Both Snoop and P posted on IG that an unnamed company was blocking them from using the name that sounds very close to Kellog's Fruit Loops. "So they don't want us to use Snoop Loopz on our cereal box, even though that's my name," Snoop posted. "We've built a national brand and disrupted the cereal industry, we did it with hard work and integrity. I know they're uncomfortable and scared."

The Snoop Loopz website claims that a portion of the proceeds from all Broadus Foods products will benefit charity organizations focused on homelessness and needy families.

In a video posted to IG, Snoop and Master P declare, "You can't stop us," as they ask for the public's assistance in naming the cereal. "When you're doing something good the devil has to show up and make his face present," Snoop said.

P chimed in as well. "When you look at these big brands, they aren't used to African American owners of cereals," he said.

Snoop said there's an opportunity for everyone to win. "Times have changed. There’s enough room for all of us to be successful," he said. "This is bigger than us, we are fighting for the next generation of entrepreneurs. We’re no longer just being consumers, we’re educating the culture building our own brands, and passing down generational wealth. Broadus Foods is all about helping the community. It’s official we’re taking over the breakfast foods industry. They can’t stop us. It’s David versus Goliath."
