Pulled from their first new album in eight years, Slum Village presents the song "Request" from their latest project, FUN.

Featuring production from Young RJ, as well as contributions from Earlly Mac and the British Hip-Hop ensemble, Abstract Orchestra, "Request" follows the release of FUN’s debut single “Just Like You,” which featured Larry June and The Dramatics.

In other Slum Village-related news, the Kennedy Center recently announced they would be honoring the late, great, J Dilla. On March 30, Robert Glasper; two-time Grammy Award–winning composer, conductor, arranger, musical director, and bassist Derrick Hodge; and the Black Radio Orchestra celebrate the 125th and 50th birthdays, respectively, of music icons Duke Ellingtonand J Dilla with a special one-night-only event in the Concert Hall.

T3 and Young RJ are set to return to Europe for the FUN Since 92 Tour in April, shortly following the new album release. The duo will also be joined by Chris Rob and his live band for two nights next month at Blue Note in New York City, the week following J Dilla's 50th birthday.
