Before taking off though, we see inside of a Spotify meeting where Jill, Shawna’s “friend” who works for the company, pitched a different artist after basically telling Shawna she couldn’t pitch her in a previous episode but her boss hated the artist she brought up in the meeting. Meanwhile, one of her coworkers suggested “this hot new duo out of Miami” and played Shawna and Mia’s song, “Seduce and Scheme.” Everyone in the room was vibing to it and the boss confirmed they wanted to add it to a playlist on the platform. Jill stood up and mentioned they were good friends of hers, trying to take some credit for her coworker’s pitch. 

Shawna and Mia finally landed in New York after a few glasses of champagne in first class and Mia’s sugar daddy sent a black car to pick them up. If y’all recall, one of Mia’s followers from OnlyFans was an older white man who lived in New York so while Shawna visits her boyfriend, Mia plans to seduce and scheme him all weekend. 

Shawna surprised Cliff at his apartment in Bedstuy and they got straight to it in the bedroom, while Mia went to a five star penthouse hotel in Manhattan and waited for her sugar daddy to get off work. When she arrived at the hotel, everything was laid out for her, champagne, horderves, the best views, black girl luxury vibes! She got a massage, then headed to dinner and she and the sugar daddy spent a night out in the city. On their way back to the hotel, Mia gave him a little backseat show, and when they arrived he asked if he could come up to the room. Mia politely declined saying they had a long night and she just wanted to go to sleep, and he seemingly was fine with that, so she got out of the car and went upstairs.

Mia drew herself a bubble bath and poured some champagne, but after a few moments in the tub, she heard the door open and stopped recording to check what was going on. 

The next day, Shawna got ready for brunch with Cliff and his friends but as she was getting ready to leave Mia called and said she needed a place to stay. She was calling her from outside the hotel with all of her luggage, so Shawna told her to just meet them at brunch and she could stay at Cliff’s place. Mia didn’t explain what happened, and Shawna surprisingly didn’t ask. 

Shawna and Cliff met up with his law school buddies for brunch and Fatima, who Shawna accused Cliff of liking in episode 1. They both were very friendly but it got weird when Fatima congratulated Shawna on her song being played in the club after so many years of trying, and Shawna wasn’t feeling the slight shade or the fact that it seemed Cliff was pillow talking with Fatima. 

Mia finally showed up to brunch with all her bags and an attitude, so Shawna poured her some champagne and before things got even more awkward, she got a text from Jill at Spotify. She invited Shawna and Mia to a Spotify event and they both were super excited to go and RSVP’d on the spot.

Later that night, they showed up to the event with Cliff and everything was going great until Cliff started to get annoyed with being the girl's cameraman. He wasn’t able to get into VIP so he headed down to the bar and started to get drunk. Shawna went to find him and ran into Brent Faiyaz. After introducing herself and chopping it up, Cliff took some photos of them and when she turned back around he was gone. 

She went back to VIP with Mia after looking for Cliff and not being able to find him, but then a girl bumped into Mia and was rude about it so Mia snapped and slapped the girl in the face. They had to flee from the VIP so they didn’t get kicked out but they ended up leaving anyway after Mia felt that Shawna didn’t have her back. 

Mia went straight to the airport, and Shawna went back to Cliff’s but at that point, Cliff was wasted and on Live. He let her in but started to make fun of her and they got into an argument while still on Instagram and things spiraled when Cliff told Shawna she was acting like a hood pornstar and said her music was trash. They broke up and Shawna stormed out to meet Mia at the airport. 

Shawna started crying when she got to the airport and even though Mia was still upset with her from earlier, she consoled her as they waited for their flight. 

The ladies careers seem to be aligning with the rap gods, day after day but their personal lives simultaneously are falling apart at the moment.
