On a recent episode of Complex’s Sneaker Shopping Pusha T explained that he no longer wears BAPE due to founder NIGO leaving the brand. “It’s done” Pusha responds when asked if he would follow in Pharrell’s foot steps and stop wearing the brand. Pharrell and Pusha T were two of the brands biggest and most well known supporters and both helped make the brand extremely popular with Hip Hoppers in the early 2000’s.

NIGO, the DJ/producer/street fashion icon sold his shares in the company back in 2011 and has created a new brand called HUMAN MADE. He has taken many of his followers with hi. Lil Uzi Vert has collaborated with HUMAN MADE and Pharrell is a supporter as well.

Last month NIGO signed a deal with Universal Music Group through Steven Victor’s Steven Victor Worldwide label and he has an album titled I Know Nigo, which is scheduled to drop on March 25th. The album is executive produced by Pharrell and features Kid Cudi, ASAP Rocky and Pusha T. Earlier this month the Pusha T assisted “Hear Me Clearly” dropped and in February “Want It Bad” featuring Kid Cudi was released.
