Acclaimed producers Nottz and Bink! are set to go head-to-head in a live beat battle early next month called the Gene Brown Beatdown. Nottz announced the event on Instagram, which is scheduled to take place on January 7, 2023, at the Booth Playhouse in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Nottz, who earlier this year the legendary Diamond D crowned as one of his favorite producers, has produced for everyone from Scarface, Rapper Big Pooh and Busta Rhymes to Jay-Z and Kanye West, while Bink! has established himself as a go-to talent via his work with Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Rick Ross among a slew of others.

Other producers will also be participating in the showdown including favorites like Stro Elliott vs Tall Black Guy, 14K vs Teeko, and a set by Supa Dave West. The event will also feature surprise live performances.
