Grammy award-winning artist and Maroon 5 keyboardist PJ Morton is rolling out his upcoming fourth solo studio album Watch the Sun later this month. In preparation for the forthcoming project, Morton recruited two generations of Grammy-award-winning artists for the lead single, “Be Like Water.”
On Thursday (April 21), Morton released the Stevie Wonder and Nas-assisted track, “Be Like Water,” a soulful bit of Hip-Hop and R&B fusion that is reminiscent of the sound and feel of classic 1970s Stevie, when the legendary singer-songwriter delivered masterworks like Innervisions and Songs In the Key Of Life. Nas delivers a spirited verse about self-growth all while denouncing all haters that come his way.
PJ Morton also announced a 39-date world tour starting in Australia in late May and ending in New Mexico in October. He took to social media to announce the tour dates and album release date.
