Nas has dropped the new "Michael & Quincy" from his latest album, King's Disease III, produced entirely by Hit-Boy.
Nas has previously spoken about his relationship with super producer Hit-Boy, comparing it to Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones' connection in the early 80s, and the song plays into the idea, especially on the last verse where Nas gets even more clever with his Michael Jackson references.
"Moonwalkin', smooth criminal talkin' (Smooth talkin')/I'm changin' colors right now 'til I'm dark-skinned('Til I'm dark-skinned)/Adam Clayton Powell, complexion of Baldwin's/Annie, are you okay watchin' me transformin'? (Shamone)/Pinky ring glitter like the socks and the glove/Know some money-gettin' thugs that could buy The Beatles pub/That's what I really call coppin' white, re-in' up (Re-in' up)," he raps on the last verse.
