In a couple of Instagram posts, Nas has alluded to the upcoming release of the much-anticipated follow up to his stellar 2021 album, Magic, and today (July 18) announced it's officially arriving this week.

The original Magic dropped in 2021, and was produced entirely by Hit-Boy, who's also the production genius behind Nas' incredible trilogy, King's Disease. Magic dropped after King's Disease and King's Disease II and featured standout tracks like "Speechless" and "Meet Joe Black."

In an interview with Vanity Fair, Nas detailed the incredible run he's been on with Hit-Boy for the past few years.

"I’m in one of these creative growth spurts," he said. "It’s something that I'm really excited about and it surprises me – but I'm not too, too surprised because I was also waiting for the day that I felt like this again, and I knew it would come."

Magic 2 arrives on July 21.
