Method Man is set to team up with his son for a new album.
The veteran rapper announced he was keeping it in the family while on stage at Irving Plaza during an event for NFT/Web3 company Artie. Meth's olswar son, Sha (26), goes by the stage name PXWER, and is part of 2nd Generation Wu along with Young Dirty Bastard (son of the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard) Sun God and Supreme (Ghostface Killah's sons), Pxro (Masta Killa's son) and iNTeLL (U-God's son). The group debuted with their single "7.0.D." in 2019.
This isn't the first time Metho and PXWER have collaborated. In 2020, 2nd Generation Wu released the remix ”New Generation" with Meth. "My speech flow further than Niles go/And my best shoes run on tracks, that's my miles, bro," PXWER raps on the track which was produced by Yodi Bangz.
“It’s dope to work with my pops,” PXWER said in a 2020 interview with HipHopDX. “It’s like a dream come true to be honest… Not many up-and-coming artists can say they worked with a hip hop legend like Method Man.”
