HipHopDX caught up with Master P on the red carpet at the City of Hope Spirit of Life Gala on Wednesday (October 18) and the No Limit Records founder had nothing but love for fellow New Orleans native, Lil Wayne.

“Lil Wayne, I mean, he’s the GOAT,” he said. “Where we come from – Louisiana to the world – you haven’t seen greatness like that. Lyrical, talented. Shout to Cash Money records. No Limit Records in the building.”

Beyond music, Master P has found success in the food industry. Back in January 2023, Master P and Snoop Dogg signed a distribution deal for Snoop Cereal and Broadus Foods.

"We are talking about diversity and changing the game and I think it's incredible," he said at the time. "We wanna make sure that we are able to put minority and African American products inside of these major grocery stores, and help open the door for other African American owned products and brands. We are building generational wealth and economic empowerment."
