Marsha Ambrosius has incredible vocal range, and she fully displays her gift on her new release, "The Greatest."
The sweeping, cinematic track is produced by Dr. Dre, Dem Jointz, Focus…, Trevor Lawrence Jr., Erik “Bluetooth” Griggs and Marsha Ambrosius herself.
“You said the day I met you that you’d never let me go/ Enchanted by your passion, I’m enamored, got me wanting you/ And the things you do to me/ You’re by far,” she longingly sings on the lovelorn track.
The song samples Ahmad Jamal Trio’s “I Love Music" which was famously flipped for Nas' "The World Is Yours." The track is taken from her forthcoming project Casablanca, produced by Dr. Dre. A date for the album has yet to be announced. Check out the song below.
