Rock The Bells caught up with Mannie Fresh on the Rock The Bells Cruise where he revealed that he was behind the Baha Men's 2000 smash hit, "Who Let The Dogs Out."

"I got approached by the guys from Circle House, they made the song Bad Boys," he explained. "They used to record in Miami and they asked was I interested in working with some guys in the studio, but I was swamped and told them no. They asked if I had any Ideas and I told them to make a beat like "Planet Rock" and say somethin' like 'who let the dogs out'."

Mannie says that the Circle House member agreed to use his ideas. "When that song came out I was like, 'Wait, I gave that one away!"

Mannie Fresh was also part of a producers panel on the cruise which included Lil Jon, Pete Rock and DJ Jazzy Jeff. During the panel, he shared with Pete Rock the influence of Pete's hit "T.R.O.Y. "

"The thing is, that song resonated. If you really loved music and Hip-Hop you understood," he explained. "There was a feeling behind that song, it was the right sample and everything. I know it took some time to put it together perfectly for your brother. We felt that."
