VA MC Skillz and Joe Budden are trading words online with what seemingly started as Budden's disappointment with current rap "beefs". After Budden posted to IG that "Streets need a body", Skillz replied "Wild take coming from a rapper who never caught one."

Budden then replied: "There is no living breathing person that has you as a better MC than me," and implied that the only dope thing that Skillz has ever done is the End of Year Rap Up, which was "stolen from him". Skillz then questions why Budden abandoned rap for podcasting.

Budden expressed his disappointment with J.Cole's response to Kendrick Lamar's recent diss calling it "narcoleptic sounding". "The tone. This is my issue with this f**king narcoleptic sounding s**t," Joe explained. "This sounds like if I was actively looking to cop fentanyl this is what I would put on," he said. "I want to hear him sound alive."
