Lupe Fiasco is back with his first album since 2018's Drogas Wave, DRILL MUSIC IN ZION.

Inspired by a folder of beats sent to him by producer Soundtrakk, the Chicago rapper created the 10-track album over a short period of time — just three days to be exact. Led by the single "DRILL MUSIC IN ZION," the album also includes standout tracks like "AUTOBOTO" featuring Nayirah, "GHOTI" and "MS. MURAL." As expected, Lupe is in top lyrical form throughout the project, despite the length of time it took to make it.

"Washing gasoline, watch hollering, replace a congress/Golden gossiping auditing through my content/Running out of water, just pondering where the pond went/World's hottest summer, we're wondering if they pawned it," he raps on the title track.

Lupe has been busy beyond music, focusing on his various community organizations including We Are M.U.R.A.L, The Neighborhood Start-Up Fund, Society of Spoken Art, and his cross-cultural content venture, Studio SV. And like so many of his peers, he's stepped into the NFT space with the launch of his LFT program, a new NFT program that offers ticketholders online and offline benefits, including digital artwork inspired by his acclaimed album The Cool, which celebrates its 15th birthday this year.
